COURSE DESCRIPTION
Scope
Food technology is a technical subject dealing with the science of food and technical aspects of food processing, preservation, storage & packaging. It involves product processing and also provide basic knowledge about the physicochemical properties of the food. It will give general brief knowledge about various food products, their processing, preservation & commercialization. Students by doing this course will be eligible for the jobs in the food companies and would be having developed certified skills for setting up their own enterprises.
