The Hamdard National Foundation-HECA, India in its meeting held on August 5, 2020, under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Janab Hammad Ahmed, Chief Mutwali, had approved to fund the Hamdard Vocational Educational Center (HVKC), by Jamia Hamdard in Moradabad.The objective is to provide skill-based quality, relevant and technology enabled education at affordable fees to the students of minority, upliftment of the education of the region of all the communities and marginalized backward communities. The campus will be fully autonomous and the students residing in the districts of Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Badaun, Kashipur, Bijnore, Bareilly and Rampur will be given priority in admission.Hamdard National Foundation-HECA will purchase land and construct buildings for teaching blocks,sport facilities and hostels for girls.The entire infrastructure will be wifi enabled,energy efficient and environmentally sustainable.
In the first year Session 2021-22 the HVKC, Moradabad offered One year Diploma in Food Technology, One year Diploma Fruit & vegetable Processing Technology, One year Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery Technology, One year Diploma in Dairy Technology, One year Diploma in Meat, Poultry and Fish Technology with very good enrollments of 34 students in the very initial phase, Students got internships at Prestigious Dubai based Lulu group (Fair Exports), PJ Foods, Food Coast International, Surya Agro (PriyaGold), Parsons Nutritions (Britannia) etc. Our students got placed during internships at Suguna Foods, Ambala and Food Coast, Jalandhar.
In the second year, Session 2022-23, We got huge enrolments, growing 3 folds closing to 101 enrolments. Seeing the growth and public demand, we introduced 3 new One year Diploma courses in the management category i.e. 1. Diploma in Merchandising, 2. Diploma in Export- Import Management, 3. Diploma in Supply Chain Management. All of our students are given Personality Development Classes including English classes and organizational Computer classes for free. All of our students have successfully completed internships at Hamdard Foods, Gurgaon, Numix foods, Kashipur, 5 of our students have been selected by On-campus visit of British MNC Intertek India Pvt ltd, Surya Agro (PriyaGold), RH International , Horizon Exports, Red Tape etc. Seeing the response from the students for these job oriented fast track courses, management has decided to start One year Diplomas in 2 new fields i.e paramedical and Information Technology (IT), The Courses introduced are
1. Diploma in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, 2. Diploma in Computer Applications 3. Diploma in Graphics Designing. Students are opting for these cross disciplinary courses as they are getting a bridge in their career for opting to new job options.
